Frequently asked

Where does the AI run?

On your own device, using your browser’s built-in language model. The extracted text is never sent to any server — including ours.

Why does it say my browser isn’t supported?

On-device AI is currently available in recent versions of Chrome and Edge on desktop. Where it isn’t available, this tool stays disabled rather than falling back to the cloud.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After your first visit the app and its WebAssembly engines are cached by a service worker, so you can process files with no internet connection at all — the ultimate proof nothing is being uploaded.
