Crop a PDF
Drag a crop box on the preview and apply it to one page or the whole document. Papyrus adjusts each page’s crop box — no content is rasterised, so text stays selectable.
How it stays private
Frequently asked
Does my file get uploaded to a server?
No. Every operation on Papyrus runs inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your file is read from disk into your tab’s memory, processed there, and written back out as a download. Watch the network counter in the header — it stays at zero from the moment you add a file.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the app and its WebAssembly engines are cached by a service worker, so you can process files with no internet connection at all — the ultimate proof nothing is being uploaded.
