Split a PDF
Break one PDF into several — by custom page ranges like 1-3, 7, 9-12, or by fixed chunks of N pages. Each result downloads as its own file (or a zip).
How it stays private
Frequently asked
Does my file get uploaded to a server?
No. Every operation on Papyrus runs inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your file is read from disk into your tab’s memory, processed there, and written back out as a download. Watch the network counter in the header — it stays at zero from the moment you add a file.
What range syntax can I use?
Comma-separated pages and ranges, e.g. 1-3, 7, 9-12. Ranges are validated live as you type.
How are the results delivered?
A single range downloads as one PDF; multiple ranges download as a zip of separate PDFs.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the app and its WebAssembly engines are cached by a service worker, so you can process files with no internet connection at all — the ultimate proof nothing is being uploaded.
